Christine Reilly is the Executive Director for the Andria Theatre which is a premier live theatre and performing arts center in West Central Minnesota. It presents five live entertainment main-stage productions each season. Shows are a mix of family entertainment and those geared toward adults. ​Alexandria was selected by First Children’s Finance to participate in the Rural Child Care Innovation Program. This is a community engagement process designed to develop right-sized solutions to address childcare shortages in rural communities.
 
Over an 18-month period, members of the Alexandria community will come together to explore opportunities and examine the challenges surrounding childcare. First Children’s Finance helps facilitate the conversation and provides expertise, tools, and resources to support the creation and implementation of solutions.
 
The entire community will be asked to take part in this important work in the months to come. The first ask is for local employers and local parents/guardians to complete surveys. The information obtained through these surveys will help guide the conversation and provide insights into the childcare challenges in the Alexandria community.
