The Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce seeks to safeguard the privacy of our website users. By accessing this website, you agree to the policies as posted herein. Our credit card processor utilizes Authorize.NET software, which encrypts your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read over the Internet.
Consumer Data Privacy Policy:
We respect our website visitors’ right to privacy online. We use your information for general purposes such as fulfilling your requests for publications and providing anonymous reporting for internal and external purposes.
We may communicate with website visitors via e-mail, text, or other online delivery devices only if the visitor agrees to receive those communications.
Visitors who believe they are receiving our communications in error or no longer desire to receive them should inform us and we will remove those names from our mailing lists.
Chamber members are given the opportunity to purchase phone and/or mailing lists of all current Chamber members. No other personal information will be provided through those requests.
Refund Policy
Membership Dues: Payment of membership dues is due at time of application or at the beginning of your renewal year. Dues are considered non-refundable. For companies choosing the monthly or quarterly payment option, membership will automatically renew at the end of 12 months and billing will continue until the chamber is notified in writing to discontinue.
Event Attendance: Registration fees to attend events where a meal and/or materials are to be provided will be refunded if cancellation is received 72 hours in advance and during normal business hours.
Sponsorship/Advertising: No refunds will be given on sponsorship or advertising opportunities.
Chamber Marketing Information: No refunds will be given on orders for the Chamber's mailing list, either in label or digital format, once the list has been generated or printed following the order.
Shipping Policy: There is no standard shipping method as the nature of the Chamber’s sales are for services rendered, not tangible products; however, in the rare case of a tangible product sold, the Chamber will advise the purchaser in advance of applicable shipping costs.
