luncheons
Monthly luncheons take place the first Thursday of each month at Broadway Ballroom, located at 115 30th Avenue E, Alexandria, MN 56308. Each luncheon offers you the opportunity to network, learn more about the Alexandria area and explore new ways to get involved in the community. Luncheons include great food, a variety of networking activities, educational speakers, prizes and business announcements. The AAYP Leadership Team strives to bring in dynamic, relevant speakers that will help all members of AAYP grow both personally and professionally.
Connect Groups
Connect group gatherings take place 2 times per month for 1 hour each. These gatherings give members the opportunity to get to know other members on a more personal level in small groups. No RSVP necessary, join us when you can!

socials
Socials provide you the opportunity to meet fellow young professionals in a more social setting to get to know them on a more personal level and establish long-lasting friendships. They take place throughout the year at a variety of locations. The group got involved in Adopt-A-Highway in 2018 and adopted a section of County Highway 81. We clean up our section at least once a year. Past socials have included trivia nights, escape rooms, paint-and-sips, BARGO, axe throwing, Blizzard Hockey, and more.

Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy:
The Alexandria Area Young Professionals (AAYP) organization follows School District #206 Inclement Weather Policy. If school is cancelled, closes early, or moves to an eLearning day OR Alexandria Public Schools related events are cancelled, all AAYP events for that day will be cancelled.
Communication:
As a member of AAYP, you can expect an email notifying you of the cancellation. If you are not a current member, you can check our Facebook and LinkedIn pages for updates or call 320-763-3161 or email [email protected].
