Guest speaker Laura Gentry, CPDT-KA (Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed), is a Canine Care Coordinator and Service Dog Instructor with Helping Paws. She is an Army veteran with 9+ years of experience instructing group classes at PetSmart. Helping Paws is a volunteer based non-profit. Their mission is to further people's independence and quality of life through the use of Assistance Dogs. The organization serves people with physical disabilities and veterans and first responders with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
